Hugs from Heaven: Embraced by the Savior is a lovely hardcover of over 100 pages full of encouragement from the Scriptures and filled with stories and sayings to uplift!
The Biblical narratives from the life and times of Jesus are inspiring. This volume (there are others in the "Hugs from Heaven" series; see Howard Publishing's website for more) includes encouraging quotes too, such as this:
"Dear Lord, give me the grace to remember that you are ready to embrace me, if I am willing to take one step toward you." --John Cowan
This volume also includes inspirational messages that will touch your heart. Scriptures have been "personalized" and do not reflect a particular version of the Bible. Some folks might have issue with that, but I found them to be accurate--just in more "layman's terms," if you will.
This book would be a lovely gift or a special addition to your nightstand to read each night and morning, as well as an encouraging devotional. As the title states, a reading from it is just like a little "hug from heaven."
I would certainly recommend this title!
