Science Songs from EdTunes includes a 60+ page workbook as well as a CD of songs to reinforce what is taught in the workbook. Geared toward grades K-3, Science Songs covers Writing, Matter, Senses, Plants and Animals, and more. Song titles include "I'm an Ant," "Butterfly," "Gravity," and "Dinosaurs Once Roamed the Earth"--18 in all, with separate tracks that are instrumental only. In all, there are over 70 minutes of music.
My children, who LOVE to learn via songs, did not care for this CD. When my 6-year-old heard the songs "Dinosaurs Once Roamed the Earth" and "Millions of Years," she rolled her eyes and walked away. That was it for her. I coaxed her into listening to the other songs to give them a chance. Still no interest. We found that the songs did not appeal to our family.
Would I recommend this product? I can't say I would. I think it's mediocre at best. There are far better materials available for creation study, or what the world calls "science." That's for sure.
