Health & the Human Body from EdTunes includes a 60+ page workbook as well as a CD of songs to reinforce what is taught in the workbook. Geared toward grades K-3, Health & the Human Body covers a variety of useful topics. Song titles include "Feeling Good," "Healthy Foods," "Play a Sport Today," and "It's My Brain"--18 in all.
My children, who LOVE to learn via songs, did not care for this CD. They gave me "that look" (as if to say "Huh?"). The children have done reviews with me for years, and this is the first CD that they have said flat out that they did not care for. The songs, in my opinion, do not sound professionally produced at all. They are informative and do not contain anything offensive, but we just found that they did not appeal to our family. After listening to the CD, the children were not interested in the workbook, but I found that it had some nice features--puzzles, writing, drawing, charts, and more.
Would I buy this? Sadly, no I wouldn't.
