Fifty Famous Fairy Tales is a wonderful collection of fairy tales by famous authors such as the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen.
As missionaries, we spend many hours in the car driving to visit churches or just crossing an international border to go to the bank. We have found unabridged audio books a wonderful way to build our children's vocabulary and historical knowledge while we are enjoying a good story on the road. Blackstone is one of our favorite producers because of their wonderful collection of classics. This was really enjoyed by my children.
There are enough short stories that my children ask to hear them again and again. The tracks are also every three minutes, so you can skip to stories you like without fast-forwarding through the whole CD. There were a few stories that may not be edifying to your family, as some fairy tales can be that way. But overall we really enjoyed it and the quiet it produced in our car--as quiet as six young children can be!
