Two moms started this unique company. They each had prior professional lives, one in retail and the other in consumer products. The vision for their company was simple: make usable, affordable day planners that are as fashionable as they are functional.
The two that I got to look at were wonderful! The first was an academic planner that is a perfect, middle-ground planner for young adults. It offers a neat blend of much-needed features tied to this active time of life. Forms help you to plan an overall schedule; then you are given space to plan each day and month. Spaces are provided for lists, notes, and ideas. There are a couple sheets of stickers in the back to mark special days, like birthdays, vacations, games, holidays, doctor appointments, even days to do a breast self-exam! I am going to give this neat planner to one of my college-age daughters.
Next, I checked out the larger-sized mom's planner. It has the same great features as the academic version but in a bigger size to encompass a more complicated life. As a Post-It Note user, I appreciated the extra space in some of the margins, designated "stick to it." This is a great place to put all those little reminders that aren't permanent enough to warrant a place in the planner itself. There are also sheets in the back for recording family information, such as doctors, teachers and neighbors.
These planners are well organized and tastefully presented. They are currently available at Borders as well as online outlets, such as amazon.com.
