The Land of Imagination is a fun
book that emphasizes using your imagination. Faith and
Matthew, the main characters, are out for a family hike
with their mom and dad. They step off the beaten path
and into their imaginations, where they meet a panda
bear who is looking for her family. She leads them on
an adventure while they search for her sisters and parents.
They encounter some other fun animals and in the end
discover that their parents have entered into the imaginary
world too.
The Land of Imagination would be a wonderful tool
to use with your kids. It even comes with a free download
of the audio book so you can listen along as you read.
The story is also a wonderful reminder to parents that
they can use their imagination right along with their
kids!
I think this is a wonderful book for homeschoolers, especially
since a homeschooling mom wrote it! The story line is
fun, and my children greatly enjoyed reading the book
and talking about how they had used their imagination
lately. Their favorite part was when the children meet
a fox and are scared of him, only to find out that he
is very friendly!
The only thing I did not enjoy about this book were the
few references to magic. Other than that, I thought it
was great.
I would certainly recommend this book to homeschoolers.
I believe they would enjoy the simple story line and
the adventure that the two children shared!
