In this 3-week study of the Mississippi River and Snapping
Turtles there are a variety of books and other resources to be used. The study includes three books, Minn of the Mississippi, Great Rivers of the World and Character Sketches. A United States map is used for mapping different places in which the River runs north and south and a listing of vocabulary words.
I think I would break this study down into about a week since I have an older child. Three weeks of the Mississippi
River and Snapping Turtle would likely have me and my daughter snapping. It just seems to long and drawn out, even for a younger person the three weeks would be pushing it. I think the study has great resources and Bible verses that help to identify with the path of the River, but again, it just seems too long and drawn out for any age child.
