By now, most people in the USA know who the Duggars are. They have been in newspapers and on television shows time and time again. Most recently, they have appeared in a series of shows called 17 and Counting on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel. If you ever wanted to know more about the Duggars, this book gives you all the information you need.

The book starts at the beginning by telling of how Michelle and Jim Bob grew up. It then progresses through each pregnancy and tells their life story up until the most recent marriage of their oldest son. Throughout the eight chapters, there are little facts about the Duggars, recipes, answers to e-mail questions, and other things that may not have been shared elsewhere in the book. The back of the book has a story about the perception of children, some notes from the chapters, a resources page that gives a list of the products mentioned, and a page on how you can keep up with the Duggars online.

All throughout this book is the story of faith in God and a person's response to God's love. The Duggars preach about God through their lives. They follow Biblical principles, mostly from Proverbs, in the training of their children as well as their business endeavors. Time after time, they tell of God's faithfulness in blessing their interactions when they choose to do things God's way instead of the quick way. They're not afraid to sacrifice for future rewards. Their story is inspirational for other homeschooling mothers and especially those who share their convictions on children and business. I highly recommend this book.
