Charlotte Mason actually used this very book in her schools for grades 4 through 6, and it still holds its charm for today's children. I was actually surprised to find it was first published in 1910, as the premise is similar to stories I have seen recently. The premise is where the similarity ends, though, as Jack's
Insects shines far brighter than any other book on the topic that I am familiar with.
