This is a downloadable PDF file that explains how to teach simple addition and subtraction to young children (ages 4-6). The method is explained first, followed by printable number cards, instructions for making a 10-bead abacus, and 60 printable and reusable worksheets. The sheets just consist of one-digit addition and subtraction problems. It is very simple and straightforward.
The instructions are very easy to understand, and the method is very workable. I have noticed that little ones especially like tactile or kinetic learning, where they can actually touch and feel what they are learning about. I intend to introduce these to my 4-year-old granddaughter when we start working with numbers.
This e-book sells for $8.00 on the Gentle Shepherd website, and I think this is a reasonable price for what you receive.
