Creation By Design Bible Trading Cards offer kids an easy, fun way to learn about Old Testament events, people, and objects. Kids of all ages can collect and trade the 100 Old Testament cards in Series A. The retail price for a packet of 5 random cards is $3.99. You can also purchase an entire box of 24 packets (120 cards) for $96.00. All 100 cards from Series A are guaranteed in each box. Discounts and wholesale pricing are available for schools and religious groups.

The front of each card has been designed with contemporary, 3D graphic artwork to capture kids' attention. This artwork is similar to what is used in video games, the Internet, and even some animated movies. The back of each card is divided into three sections. The Narrative tells a part of the Biblical story in language kids will understand. The Fun Facts section gives interesting facts on a variety of topics relating to the card in hand. The Timeline presents the events of that particular card in historical relation to the other cards and world history in general. In this way, the information on the cards is presented entirely as fact, not myth.

My boys, ages 8 and 10, were not interested in using the cards for trading, since they really didn't know of anyone else who had these cards with whom they could trade. However, we did use them as devotional prompts for our daily Bible study. As an individual, I probably wouldn't buy the cards for just my family. I do think they would be great items for groups such as Sunday Schools, Vacation Bible School programs, and Bible camps, though.

Currently only Series A is available for purchase. Creation by Design is working on the completion of Series B, and eventually the entire Old Testament will encompass 818 cards. They expect to have at least that many cards for the New Testament eventually.
