I received a selection of Go Fish CDs to review, and I couldn't
have been more excited! Included were Snazzy and Kickin'
It Old School, which my 12-year-old granddaughter immediately
wanted to listen to. She absolutely loved them. They have great
Christian lyrics and a modern beat. One of my personal old favorites, "I'll
Fly Away," was on the Kickin' It Old School CD. Snazzy is
my granddaughter's personal favorite. It includes 11 songs and
two bonus tracks, including "Jammies" and "The Mom Song." "The
Mom Song" is hilarious and should be enjoyed by all moms. One of
the songs on this CD is the "Bible Book Bop," which helps your
child learn the books of the Bible.
Two other CDs, Party Like a Preschooler and ZZZ
Snooze, were just right for my 5-year-old granddaughter.
She loves the songs too! Party Like a Preschooler is
billed on the cover as "The Coolest Toddler CD You'll Ever Hear!" It
has old favorites like "Do Your Ears Hang Low," "The Wheels on
the Bus," "Pop Goes the Weasel," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," and "John
Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" (plus 7 more) as well as a bonus
dad track called "It's Hard to Be Cool (in a Mini-van)." ZZZ
Snooze has ten songs, including "Catch a Falling Star," "SkinnaMarinkyDinkyDink," "Sail
Away," and "You're My Little Girl." I also previewed the Christmas
CD entitled Snow. It has some standard Christmas favorites
in Go Fish's unique style as well as a fun original song of theirs, "It's
Called Christmas with a Capital C."
This is the kind of music we want our kids to listen to, and the
whole family can enjoy all of it. I highly recommend this music
to all homeschool families for their enrichment times.
