Mischief! Adventures of a Daydreamy Child is an audio CD collection of six different skits or stories. Just place the CD into a computer or CD player, and you are taken away into story land. The first story on this CD was called "Ceiling Blues" and involved an imaginary friend.

A homeschool family studying oral history or family folklore might use this CD as a supplement. You could listen to a story and then branch off and ask your children to write a story from their own childhood. None of the stories specifically involved homeschooling

Lynn Ruehlmann talks about herself and her sister in these stories, and my six-year-old could see a little bit of herself in these stories. We listened to this CD in the car while traveling. The middle schooler didn't care for the audio stories. He would have liked more sounds in the audio track and a story about being a boy. Ms. Ruehlmann uses many different voices in her stories to distinguish her characters. On her website Ms. Ruehlmann describes the different live performances that she can do. I imagine that she is very expressive in person.
