The Silent Knight of Wordishure is a 40-page Christian
children's picture book. Isaac, a little boy who doesn't talk much
but always tries to do what is right, is chosen by the King of
Wordishure to carry out a very important mission. This mission
is to deliver a gift to every citizen of the kingdom. Along the
way he has the opportunity to help a couple of characters in trouble,
and they in turn help him to complete his mission. This gift turns
out to be an invitation for all the people of Wordishure to attend
a living nativity, where the King reads the nativity story.
The Songs of Wordishure CD includes six songs: "Welcome
to Wordishure," "How Do You Hug a Porcupine," "In a Clankabang
Tree," "Fellowship's Wake," "Up Tumbledown," and "Under Sleeping
Willow." The songs are a folksy, bluegrass style and are easy to
listen to (for both children and adults). The lyrics in the songs
encourage good behavior, including being a good friend, listening
to the Word of God, being polite, and making good decisions.
I think both the CD and the book are well done. The story is sweet,
and the CD is catchy. Both would make a nice addition to your home
library.
