Ethan's adventures include cultural and geographic details along with bits of Spanish language learning. As with all books in this series, kids are encouraged to visit the book's website, where they can view Ethan's pictures and find additional activities and projects to undertake. Soccer World: Spain is designed for readers ages 7-10, and it is also available in Spanish! Keep in mind that this book does not support a Christian worldview, as mention is made of a Tarot card reader at one point. But I wouldn't discount this lovely travel book on that point alone.

Not only does the book include great information about Spain, but there are pronunciation guides right in the text for all newly introduced Spanish words and phrases, which is super helpful! The book also includes a number of really wonderful projects, including making an erupting volcano! In all, this small colorful book covers Spain's history, culture, and geography quite nicely for young readers.
