This DVD says it is for ages 3 months to 4 years. I personally don't see an infant being very interested in it, but older toddlers should find it interesting. The person introducing the words is a young girl, and her mannerisms are somewhat distracting to me. But maybe a young child would relate to the fact that it is another child. She is aided by a couple of monkey puppets.

I was especially interested in this DVD since we have a special needs child that we care for who has speech delays. The therapist told us to work on action words with her, not just naming objects. I believe this DVD will be very beneficial to her. She is interested enough to watch the action, and my hope is that she will pick up some of the words as well.

I think this would be a beneficial DVD for any child developing his or her language skills, for special needs kids, and for the general population of children. This DVD sells on the company's website for $19.95.
