Moonfinder is a delightful book that tells the story
of a little boy and his father, who watch the moon every night
for a month. It teaches about the monthly cycle of the moon. I
even got a new perspective on the subject, from the wonderful illustrations
in the book. This is a great addition to your elementary science
curriculum, or even just as a great bedtime story. The illustrations
are eye-pleasing and the story is very engaging. My six-year-old
granddaughter really enjoyed this book. This book will become a
permanent part of our home library.
You can learn along with your child about the cycle of the moon,
the names of the phases, and enjoy being a moonfinder together.
This book sells for $15 on the Classical Astronomy website. This
would be a great present for your child or grandchild that is interested
in science.
