"A Treasure Box full of adventure" is the description Treasure Box Press uses to describe their Science Kits-how appropriate it is! When we received the box full of our Treasure Boxes, there were lots of "Oooooooooos" and "Aaaaaaaahs"...the excitement and enthusiasm carried through entire study for the whole family!

The Sense of Sight kits (like all Treasure Box kits) come complete with everything needed for the study, including a paperback book, that correlates with the Study. In these kits, the PreK-2nd kit came with "Through Grandpa's Eyes", a delightful story of a young boys' adventures with his grandfather who is blind. The 3rd-6th kit came with a copy of the classic "Helen Keller". There are teacher's guides, to go along with the students' materials and all the makings for the neat hands on projects! You add a pencil, scissors, glue, some water and a dictionary--and you are set!

Treasure Boxes are studies that cover a multitude of subjects! These kits are loaded with fun hands on activities, such as creating your own Braille messages or verses, making Benham spinning discs, doing a color blindness test, and making an eyeball! Incorporated into this interesting study, are writing activities, vocabulary, diagramming they eye, using your senses, guide dogs, famous people in history with visual impairments, health & safety of the eyes, and much more.

We used these studies with different aged children in our family, and they work very nicely together! They were easy to teach simultaneously, and we all enjoyed learning together.

My highest recommendation and "BRAVO" to Treasure Box Press-they have created fun, easy to use, family-friendly learning adventures! Take a look at Treasure Box Press' website to view all the neat offerings they have and the wide variety of kits they offer!
