A product that came to TOS with a BANG! was this fun game, You've Been Sentenced! Why did it stand out to us? The company sent it wrapped as a gift with glitter and special wrapping - a beautiful presentation. Our kids were instantly intrigued. Home educators understand the importance of making learning fun. The 3 R's are not always easy to teach, and some students find learning to read and write a chore. McNeill Designs crafted a fun way to learn about sentences; you shuffle cards and gain points by creating grammatically correct sentences. A "jury" is involved who must either accept or reject a player's offering of a sentence. 200 points gets the player the title, "Sentence Champ."
This is a card game where everyone wins. Ages 8 and up, depending on competency, perfect for special needs kids as well. Definitely recommended by The Old Schoolhouse Magazine.
