Here's an obvious question: Would you like to raise a generous child? One who is thankful, thoughtful, and loves to help others? Of course you would! While your own example certainly plays the most important role, there is a really cool way to encourage these qualities. It's called The Giving Book, a spiral-bound hardcover activity book that's perfect for you to enjoy one-on-one with your amazing kid (ages 6 to 12). Set up like a combination workbook and diary, it's full of thought-provoking questions and exciting ideas. Sure, your child can probably handle these fun activities all by himself, but you will cherish the time you spend together with this book as you see a love of giving develop.

The Giving Book is a great tool to teach the foundations of giving, such as recognizing what others have given to you and being thankful. You will also learn about service, using your talents to help others, donating money, and working with a group to help those in need. Super values! The only suggestion I have for improving this book is that it would include Christian examples and biblical reasons for charity. However, most kids will find this book fun, challenging, and motivating.

The Giving Book will provide you a great opportunity to share your goals and reasons for giving and to let your child develop his own as well. An inspiring book!
