Gopher It! The Stockpiling Game of Pushing the Limits!, is available from Timberdoodle. This is a lively card game for ages 5 to adult that emphasizes counting and number skills. My 4-year-old son was able to play Gopher It! The directions call for 2-4 players. I found that two players was the best number. All my children (ages 4 to 15) enjoyed playing Gopher It! and have asked to play it repeatedly. The 50 playing cards are printed on heavyweight card stock and will hold up well under repeated play with young children.
