Rachel's Secret Journal takes place during the reign of King Solomon. Rachel struggles with her relationship with her cousin from the big city of Jericho. Rachel must deal with peer pressure as God grows her faith. All three books are gems! I believe readers will be inspired to trust in God and realize that other children have the same struggles as they do. Because the books give a snapshot of what life was like, they are a wonderful addition to your homeschool curriculum when you study these time periods.
