Every parent should have this book! Carla shares her principals and ideas for raising children while laying a Godly foundation for them. This is a book to read and re-read. Carla addresses children’s spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental growth. She shares stories from within her own family, nd shows how to help lead our children to God with spiritual disciplines. She shares her ideas for devotional play with young children, and gives her list of must-have reading for parents who are on their walk. I think much of parenting and the raising of children to the glory of the Lord is the re-education of the parent’s mind, a renewal of the soul, and a firm grip on the hand of Lord (through His word). Carla's book As You Walk Along the Way is on MY list of must-have reading! This book is a true resource written by a mother who shares her wisdom and love of the Lord as she “walks along the way.”
