Is reading comprehension on your list of skills to strengthen? Does your family enjoy board games? Then the Comprehension Zone may be just what you are looking for.

This game comes with a playing mat, cards, four markers, one die, and an instruction booklet. It is a game that can be played with two to four players, or teams of players, and is good for ages seven to adult. The player reads a card and then repeats two key facts using complete sentences. Key facts are listed on the back of the card and, if help is needed, the player can read the back of the card for assistance. The die is then rolled and the player moves forward. If help was used, the player deducts one for a "help penalty" and moves the adjusted number of spaces. The playing mat is a path from Saturn to a space station and the first one to the space station wins.

The three sets of cards cover the following topics: planets (for second and third grade level), American Biographies (fourth - sixth grade level) and International Biographies (for seventh - 12th grade level), allowing for a variety of ages and interests.
