I am always on the lookout for an inspiring and practical book on homeschooling and was delighted to find Easy Homeschooling Techniques. Author Lorraine Curry does a fantastic job of presenting tips and encouragement for new and veteran home educators. I enjoyed her sections on goal setting and planning and especially appreciated all the ideas for saving money on curriculum. The book also includes a thorough guideline for keeping track of high school credits that demystified what seemed to be an intimidating task. There are chapters on home organization, home business, and much more. What was especially a blessing was how she brought everything in line with our ultimate goal of serving Christ as we teach our children, exhorting us to spend time daily in the Word and prayer. The book also includes a helpful resource list, scope and sequence, and a book list. I'm sure anyone would find this book a wonderful addition to his or her homeschool library.
